Took a couple of pictures whilst routing through a few wires down from the drivers side A pillar and into the engine bay.
Used the grommet behind the dash that goes through to the scuttle area on the drivers side.
The grommet is more or less in line with the torx screw as shown in the second picture where I’ve poked a rod through.
There are a number of threads showing the routing on the passenger side or mentioning this drivers side grommet, but I couldn’t find a decent picture, so hopefully, this may be helpful to others.
Admin, please move as appropriate to the most suitable thread (I couldn’t decide)

Theres another one on the bulkhead below the pedals, just beneath the upper edge of the carpet/floor covering. Doesnt require wholesale removal or the scuttle or other components to access.

Is it used by VW? It's the right side equivalent to the one behind the battery (for right hand drive)?

I dont know if VW use it. I presume so, else theyre daft to have it at, but there's nothing there on mine.

It's lower down than the battery one. I'll grab a photo tomorrow.

Here's the driver's side grommet on mine. My fingertip is hovering over it. It's fairly low down, roughly level height wise with the OS engine mount.
