Drivers seat lowers itself!

Has anyone else had this problem? I like the seat at max height, but over a few days it gradually drops down to the lowest setting. I pump it up with the lever, and a few days later it’s down again. Is it hydraulic/pneumatic? Is there a fix?

Haven’t noticed this with my T6 but it used to happen on my vito - realised every time I got out I would brush against the adjustment lever and lower it slightly!

That’s a thought, I do tend to ‘slide’ out, off the edge of the seat. I’ll see if I’m catching the lever tomorrow.

Did you get to the bottom of this ? Mine does exactly the same over a couple of days. As far as I'm aware, I don't brush against the lever. I like you, prefer it at max too.

No, never have, still does it, I’m pretty sure it’s just the way I slide out. Can’t find anything wrong with the seat mechanism.

I had the same with both my vans (work and camper) and it was/is sliding out that does it even though I try to avoid the slide as I’m trying to not distort the seat cushion edge over time!

Ok cheers both. I'll try and keep an eye on how I get in and out of the van from now. Never had it happen in previous vans though.
