Double Swivel Passenger Seat to Single Swivel

Hi,

I have a T6.1 and it already has a double passenger swivel seat - however I'm wanted to change it to a Single Seat (more comfort for my wife). My Questions are:

1. Has anyone done it? I assume I remove the double swivel however would the bolts be the same for a single?
2 Are there any electrics I should be aware off (nothing in double swivel at present) - more thinking airbags sensors etc..not sure.
3. Is the passenger swivel seat just a standard passenger seat - i.e. it's the base unit that swivels.
4. will all t5/t6 passenger seats fit a t6.1?

It’s a pretty straightforward swap. Although you will need to plug the holes in the rubber floor mat.

I have a double front and a double back that with the drivers makes 5 seats. If I changed to 2 x single front and the double back would the V5 or MOT be impacted as its 'officially' a 5 seat vehicle?

MOT will only be affected by a poor install.

V5 - I don't work in insurance but I've been led to believe that premiums are based (in part) on the number of seats ... consequently I think it's a good idea to have the V5 modified to reflect the lower number actually fitted.

Where are the best places to buy a passenger captains seat at the moment?
I'm looking to swap my current double out for a captains chair with swivel.
