Double Swivel and Bulkhead Lip

I have seen so many threads and Youtube Videos of people saying you need to remove the bulkhead lip for a swivel seat to be fitted.
however after see this Youtube video this guy has fitted the Rusty Lee Swivel-Slider and it seems to clear the lip which you can see from the picture.
Am I missing something here?

Is there a lip? Or is it a kombi. I can't quite see properly.

I think the lip is there because the side b-pillar bulkhead brackets are still in situ and seem to join it at the bottom corner.
I can’t see any advantage to leaving that strip of metal in place though.

Ah yes, I see it now. The floor has been raised up to it?
 
It looks like the lip is still there because the side b-pillar bulkhead brackets are attached, but if you're not using it for anything, there's no harm in removing that metal strip for a cleaner fit with the swivel seat.
