Door Latch Steps

Does anyone use one of the steps that attaches to the door latch to access things on the roof or does everybody just stand on the seat?

There are all sorts of designs out there and most claim to be "universal", but clearly they are not !

Either brilliant or completely useless, but not sure which !!

Would welcome any thoughts.

I’ve seen these before. I personally have no use for one but remember seeing some reviews mentioning they dented the metal on the door aperture. Not sure how strong the Transporters are in that area, however I wouldn’t want to find out the hard way!

I‘ve used the second style before with no issues. It allowed me to strap down a paddle board to the roof bars without having to step on the seats. I never had an issues.

I just stand on the tyre, but I have quite large arch gaps.
