Quick question for people who have a Renogy 2000W inverter.

Renogy suggest fitting a 250A fuse (even though they supply 100A cables - another discussion).
At 2000W and 12v is a current of 167A (plus losses for the inverter).

I would be interested in what size cable you used and for what length of run? I am thinking 50mm2 as the run will be less than 0.5m each way.

Thanks.

Ps do you know if the fans are ntake or exhaust?

I run 50mm2 cable, this is about 1m each way. I also used a 200A fuse.

did you receive 2 pairs of inverter cables? I did with mine and the warranty replacement a year later. I assume they want you to use both.

I think those inverter cables are their standard token offering, as when fitting a friends 3000w inverter, it came with the same ones!

Sorry no idea about the fans. Not sure I recall ever hearing them come on.

Thanks for the reply.

Good to know your setup.

Yes I did get 2 pairs of cables. Marked 100A each. By the weight of them they are copper clad aluminium not pure copper.

Thanks.
