Do Das Welt garages accept down payment on credit cards?

Hey all,
Trying to speed up the (nearly) new van to this month/next, would need to put £3/4k on a credit card as deposit. I can pay it off quite quickly, so not worried about the interest. Just need to know if a dealer would take a large deposit like this on a card?

I bought on debit card also and it was fine half expected the bank to ring me !
Just wondering if credit card protection would affect it ?

You only need £100 charged part of the purchase on a credit card to enjoy protection on the entire purchase, that's why some car dealers won't accept them, to my mind anyone reputable would do so.

Yep. Been in today. 1% surcharge for FCA credit card protection for transactions over £1000. Not the end of the world, but wasn't 100% on the three vans I looked at, so the search goes on!
