I wondered about this modification with the Shuttle blinds too but decided against it as it would leave gaps at the sides and not match any blind or curtain you put in the back window. Got a local upholstery company making me up some curtains instead. Made some tempory thermal screens for windscreen and cab side windows from frost screens from Aldi and sucker cups off eBay. Cost 15 quid all in. You could do the same with the rear. They'll do until I decide what to do with privacy curtain once pop top roof is fitted.
