Ouch! Hopefully it’ll click back together again and a new mirror glass is all you need

I’ve put mine back together a couple of times, they’re surprisingly sturdy

Our van was hit by a bird going to Busfest last weekend. Lucky for us it just popped out the mirror. Not lucky for my wife who had to hold onto the mirror for about 8 miles until we could stop. It just popped back in, cost me a hot choc drink though - hands were freezing

Just happened to me.. reckon I can get away with just glass replacement?

It can’t have been a hard hit or the alum’ pivot breaks, the plastic clips are very weak, it’s easy to break them when disassembling so you have nothing to loose in trying to push the shell back together. Maybe some hidden 3M double sided tape will hold it.
Fitting a new glass is easy.
