Declaring kobi conversion to insurer

Hi all,
Question I can't find the answer to.
I'm converting my panel Van to a komb and will be declaring the conversion as a modification to my insurer.
If I change the seating capacity and select window van on the v5 log book will I still have to declare the conversion as a modification going forward when getting future quotes?

Unfortunately with anything insurance related the answer always has to be tell them. Regardless of assumed cover you'll only find out if there's a problem when large sums of money are involved.
