Dead Spot On Acceleration

Since I've had my van, 2lt I've noticed when changing gear and you initially push the accelerator theres a dead spot before the power kicks in. Id say first 1cm of peddle travel its hesitates.
I ran it though my Carista app and nothing flags up as a fault. It doesnt always do it but most of the time.
Any ideas.

We have just the same issue with our 2019 199 4Motion DSG. How old is yours and is it manual or auto?

Hi. It’s a 2017 manual with 14000 miles. Seems to come and go but I can’t figure wether it’s more when it’s cold or not.

Thanks @SkyMonster . I guess it's not the same thing then as our issue seems to only be affecting DSG vehicles produced since the release of VW's Euro6.2 compliant vans last summer.
