Dead Head Unit

Hi

We managed to completely drain the battery on our 2017 T6 (left headlights on for about 2 weeks!)... trickle charged it back into action and everything seems to be fine... except the head unit, which is completely and utterly dead...

I've checked all of the accessible fuses - no problem there.

Grateful for any recommendations - thanks in advance

Have you tried to disconnect your starter battery for 1 minute and let it boot up properly again?

no - all i've done is check that no fuses blown

I also saw something about a Capacitive Discharge (shorting) ... but with zero knowledge of electronics, was a bit nervous about the sound of this.

will give the simple disconnect a try first

Finally got round to doing this - worked a treat - thanks for the advice!
