If you remove the plastic blank you should have a mounting plate underneath. The autovox comes with adapters to fit onto that mounting plate.

That’s great thank you! I saw it came with adapters and the photos of them, but I couldn’t see anywhere explicitly confirm compatibility with the T6, thank you for confirming

On my T6.1 Weinsberg I have an internal rearview mirror fitted which I cannot use because there is no rear window to look out of! I do have a standard VW reversing camera which is about to be fixed cos it has failed!

I’ve been to Austria, Slovenia and France this year and i’ve had a couple of near misses. I fitted a couple of ‘overtaking’ stick on mirrors but there not brilliant.

What I need is something that will fit on the existing mirror and always give me a decent (wide-angle) rearview when actually driving. With a dash cam is also acceptable.

Any pointers?

I have had one on my van for a year or 3 now and it works well ,Love the fact it is such a wide angle view so can see so much more than out of side mirrors (good for traffic coming onto motorway) .just use the rubber straps that come with it for fitting!Had a problem last year where it kept switching off then back on .Spoke to the customer services and they sent me a new one after I had tried a few firmware updates.Found out a couple of months ago after fitting the old one to another car that it wasn't the mirror at fault but the power supply !!Don't get the the power supply that is listed as being specific for The autovox as it is crap .Fitted a different make of power supply and no more problems

Hi, I have just had my converters fit one of these, but something is draining my main battery every three days and I suspect they have connected to two live fuses, are you able to confirm, or show a picture, of which fuses yours is connected to? they threw away the installation book, so I have nothing to refer to, cheers Also, any idea how to make the rear view stay on, mine times out to the compass screen constantly and it drives me bonkers.. Cheers

Hi sorry only just seen your question .The timing out bit I think is is because you have it in driving mode just need to change in settings

I think the top one in the picture is my dashcam. If you go to the auto-vox site /support /resources/dashcam there is a downloadable manual
