Cutting sportline spoiler !!!!!

Hi peeps. Has anyone been brave enough to cut their rear spoiler to fit the genuine VW bike rack? Contemplating this as towbar with electrics are gonna cost me a fortune. Any advice ?

If it was me and I was to do this then I would do it in the workshop..
Template it all out on the van, with rack on etc..
Then back to workshop and make the alterations, then start fibreglassing it back together, sanding and lackering..etc.. this is a long process but you could end up with a nice result.. almost 3 spoilers..
