Hello
If i have 2 cars standing beside each other whats it going to take to get acc and mfsw from car 2 onto car 1?
Car 1 has only regular cruise control on the stalk , and the boring steering wheel
Car 2 has mfsw and acc
Both cars are 2016 and have dsg

Is number 1 equipped with FRONT ASSIST?
Is there a radar in the front bumper?

Yes there is a radar in the front bumper. I havent found any partsnumber on it but it is excactly the same as the on car 2

In this case you would need to move your MFSW from 2 to 1.
Relocation of the radar from 2 to 1 won't work as it has CP matched with the original Instrument Cluster. You have two options there. Disable CP check and upload correct FEC on your radar( vehicle 1) yourself or replace it altogether with a unit already prepared by someone else.

So the radar on car 1 wont work with acc?
It would if you can replace its public key with the developer one, then delete your current FEC, next generate correct one for your gearbox type and max ACC speed and then upload it.

Hi!
ACC retrofit question: If a vehicle originally had AEB-only radar and I install an ACC-capable radar from a donor car, then remove CP via ODIS online, will the system automatically run SVM / parameterization and potentially overwrite the radar’s dataset to match the vehicle’s original configuration?
Or does CP removal only clear the protection and keep the existing radar parameter set?

VW never allowed for ODIS online CP matching on PQ vehicle, only MQB.
