Connecting solar panel to PMS3

I've got a PMS3 in my van, and have got a 120W folding solar panel (this one). The solar panel has just been used to charge power banks but I would like to see how I could use it to charge the leisure battery (and maybe the main battery). I would need to buy an MPPT controller, but how would I connect it all up? Can I just connect the panel (via the MPPT controller) to the PMS3 somewhere?

Many years old now this question...just wondering if you did the same as me and connected the solar charger controller straight to the battery?

It's fine to connect a solar charger direct to the battery, so long as you fuse the connection as close to the battery as practical - otherwise you have an unprotected battery positive cable which is a bit of a risk of you had a short.
