Clutch master cylinder

Hi after a clutch cylinder for my van 7E0721401F the part number tried all routes but saying that there non in stock anywhere can you help please regards pat

I am in same situation, and no one can confirm if it's the master cylinder or the slave!

Any advice?

I’ve just spoken to VW, there’s none in Germany and therefore nothing in the UK either. They have one on back order but that was from December with no lead time at the moment. My van is off the road and un-driveable at the moment. Doing a big google search but not having any luck

Any leaks under the clutch? Is the brake fluid level suspiciously low?

No leaks under clutch was low on fluid
Was advised to do master as cheapest then do slave plus all other bits if didn't solve
Tried clamping flexible section of pipe but still no resistance
Looks like in it for the long run

When mine went, approx 12/18 months ago, I was in the same boat, garage had a 3 month lead time.
I managed to source one from Autodoc.
Don't know what their stock levels are like.
