Climair (version 2) trim clips catching

I fitted the new Climair wind deflectors yesterday. The ones with the rubber and metal trim clips that attach by the wing mirrors.

They’re securely fitted and the window channel is clear but still the window catches the clips on the way up when closing.

Has anyone experienced (and resolved) this?

Fitted mine two days ago. You need to make sure they are correctly handed and they need to be pushed in to wing mirror trim

first impressions really nice. Had brand new set of OEM due to dealer losing a Heko one on a test drive. Thinner and resonate at 70

Top tip - if you dont like blue logo a bit of Acetate UPVC Cleaner and some gentle rubbing will get it off without any damage

Thank you @Hilly64 the picture is really useful! I think I have to push the clip on more so where it’s nearest the mirror. I’ve pushed hard and worry as the trim bends. Did you use any tools to get the clip to fit snug?

No just usual brute force and ignorance

Just get window out of the way should be able to give it a push, looks like front edge just wants pushing home

Its that long ago, I cant remember what I used to get the logo off. It might have just been trim tool with some Autoglym tar / glue remover

Found them. Passenger side went on easy but divers side took some heavy persuasion do get the clip in
