Chips and rust spots

Currently on the lookout for a use Kombi and I've found one in a beautiful Starlight Blue. On this color I found it difficult to see on first inspection, but I've been back for another look and there are quite a few chips on the bonnet. It also found 3 or so rust spots from chips that I presume have been touched up in the past.

I guess this chips can be touched up to an acceptable-ish standard with a VW supplied kit. But what do you guys think about the rust spots? Any idea how much it would cost to put right? Appreciate any tips on how you would deal with these issues, its a 4 year old van so I wouldn't expect it to be pristine but don't want rust problems in the future.

Walk on by and find one with good paint. My four year old van is pristine, as will many others be at that age.

Unless it's unusually cheap I can see no reason for not just finding and unmarked one,

The panels are galvanised as far as I’m aware. It could be the result of body repair work. I would leave it alone.
