Child lock

I have just replaced my drivers window switch on Vw t6.1 high line 2023 and fixed the issue I had with passenger window and one touch however the child lock when activated seems to be working in reverse it locks the sliding door and the barn doors from the outside but not the inside as it should so I can open them internally but not externally

That's not a child lock - it's a means of centrally locking all doors without engaging the deadlocking (hence why you can open the doors from the inside, but not from the outside).

Was the child locks working correctly prior to changing the switch panel?
