I have a charging or battery connection issue on my T6 (2017 CXFA-engine).
I have an error code: 00088 Charge monitoring for battery, electrical fault in circuit.
I can clear the code. But it pops up again after the next drive.
Some times I also get a message on the stereo, when only the ignition is on, that the battery power is low and it will shut down.
I have never had any issues to start the engine.
There was no visible damages on the outside of the yellow/green cable in the harnest under to oil filter (the known issue).
I replaced the accessible part of the cable, just to be sure. But it didn´t help.
With only the ignition on OBDEleven shows 11,7 V in the battery.
But when I measure directly on the battery at the same time it shows 12,3 V.
When the engine is running OBDEleven shows 14,3 V.
From what I could see from bellow without diasembling anything the connectors on the alternator looked ok.
But it´s not easy to get a clear view.
I have tried to find out where the green/yellow cable is connected in the other end without succeeding.
Does anyone know? or have other ideas how I should proceed?
