I don’t normally shy away from any job but for some reason the carpet lining has me procrastinating.

Any tips or words of encouragement welcome 😂

I was dreading it but it turned out pretty good.

Wooden spoon is a good tool for pushing the carpet into all of the corners, edges, etc.

Have a practice on something first, get an idea of how quick it sticks and how much stretch you have

If you are carpeting the metal work in one run, over estimate the length as you lose a lot manoeuvring it around the rear pillars and can come up short.

With that said, if you do make a mistake anywhere, carpet is easily "patched" and if done neatly is invisible

Oh and fresh sharp Stanley blades are your saviour. I rate these they hold an edge longer when cutting carpet (I used THQ recycled plastic so not sure if this was easier or harder to cut than regular 4-way stretch

Totally normal response.
I don’t think I could think of anything I’d rather not do.

That’s a damn fine job!
I wish I’d have done mine myself, but a combination of not being arsed and the Mrs wanting it done “professionally” meant it went in a shop…
