Morning All.

Due to a recent EML popping up on my van I was looking to purchase Carista, I see quite a few people use this.

Being unfamiliar with this would the attached be the correct one?

Many thanks Andy.

Thats the standard Carista, yes.

The EVO has more functions, but for general diagnostic, reset and configuration use the standard unit is excellent in its own right and quite user friendly. I have the electronics ability of a cabbage and manage nicely with it.

The big advantage of the EVO is functionality on other brands of car, although folk on this forum have reported some success with the standard unit as well.

I've just bought the 'old' white one. Works perfectly.

(Amazon told me that the newer EVO wouldn't fit which I've found out later to be incorrect).

There are some deals on at the moment

Many thanks for your help, i think for my need the old one should work fine. I'll only use it on the 2019 T6 i have. Do you pay a yearly subscription?. Thank you.

I pay the yearly fee. Something like an iCarsoft V3.0 is 3 or 4 times the price and not as capable (cant do a lot of the configuration stuff) so I've no qualms there. Because its so small its easy to keep in the van, which is where you want it - no point it being in the drawer at home if you're 300 miles away and trying to decide if the van is safe to drive because some wally lights are up.

Many Thanks for your help, makes total sense and will do the same. Thanks.
