I fitted the one with screen about 6 months ago, all working well so far.Hi, I use the following and they do one without a screen which makes it a little cheaper. Wolf Shield The only thing I would say is it's too loud for a van but I suppose that's better than being too quite. They are also available in white if that suites your interior better.
I've got the wolf shield with the screen, stuck on the end of the rear cupboards just above my head when driving, I do hope it doesn't go off whilst driving, they are very loud! It hasn't in 2 years, remember to test them occasionally, 10 year battery life apparently.Hi, I use the following and they do one without a screen which makes it a little cheaper. Mines fitted on the rear cupboards too just above the diesel heater controls. Not far from where I sleep so if it ever goes off in the nightI've got the wolf shield with the screen, stuck on the end of the rear cupboards just above my head when driving, I do hope it doesn't go off whilst driving, they are very loud! You'll certainly be alarmed!Mines fitted on the rear cupboards too just above the diesel heater controls. Not far from where I sleep so if it ever goes off in the night

I don't have a boiler in my vanStick it where your boiler is. Or close to it. Mine was on the landing, but my local service engineer told to move it into the airing cupboard where the boiler is.
I saw the same video & also have a Wolf shield alarm although not the same model. Mine has a display which shows ppm and although I’ve not tested it to the point of activating an alarm, it does register just by turning the gas hob on with the windows closed.I watched a YouTuber (Thomas Heaton) vid the other day, he had a fault from his diesel heater, his Wolf shield alarm didn’t activate, lucky he had a second alarm which did sound the alarm, I’ve got a wolf shield alarm too, and also have another back up alarm fitted, I’m going to find a way of testing the wolf shield with carbon monoxide, as I don’t trust it.
Just putting it out there for any other Wolf Shield carbon monoxide owners, get a back up alarm
Ah, I’ve got the older model, yes, having a display would certainly help to see it’s monitoring the air, I might upgrade to the new one, then I’ll have 3…I saw the same video & also have a Wolf shield alarm although not the same model. I do intend getting an additional detector of a different make as a back up
