Trying to book a site with caravan and motor home club, towing our caravan with VWT5.1 combi,if we class it as a van they say the outfit is too long?
If we do the same with towing with car it will take the booking,we never have had this in the past and always have towed with the van since 2014.
Anyone else had this issue ??
I think the Caravan and Motor home is vanist.

Lie like a politician on a charge!

just do the length of the caravan not with the van as well
you park the van next to it
edit: Sorry I didn't realize they ask for both lengths seems a bit daft some cars are as long as a van

They have changed the web site you only used to have to put the registration of the vehicle in before.
The wife is on a mission tomorrow as she will call the club and ask why?

Funny in the magazine they say the VW T7 VAN is a great tow vehicle, funny that!

Just an update
My wife spoke to the club today and they told her that they are aware of a error on there site, they told us to book as a car and not a van as the system thinks you are sleeping in both?
So any one else having the same issue it’s come from the club to book as a car.
I hope this like us reassures everyone that they are ok with vans.

Campsite Police, up there with Traffic Wardens.

And if you signwrite your lovely t6 van with ‘ local tarmac supplies’ you’ll never get in….

Since we’ve had our Kombi I’ve just booked as a car, not had an issue on any site.
Good to know that is the official advice though!
