Canvas nightmare

Hi there,

I’m trying to clean and waterproof my pop top ready for a road trip to Wales (essential I would have thought)

I’ve used Meguiars Convertible Top Cleaner Spray on and used a soft brush to work in the foam. I’ve come to wash it off and this stuff just keeps on foaming, I know have foam on the inside and no amount of spaying with the hose is helping. Any ideas on what todo ? …. Or do I just let it dry and apply the water proof ? It stink terrible, so I’m thinking if I don’t get the foam out I’ll poison the kids !!!

Keep rinsing until it until it stops foaming, no different to anything else with detergent on it I guess.

Wetvac?

Rince it down.

Wetvac off.

Repeat.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll try the wet vac option. I let it dry overnight (thinking it may evaporate lol) If it was just on the outside it wouldn’t be too much of a problem but it foams up on the inside which is a bit tricky to remove without getting everything soaking wet. Thanks again
