I'm just about to plan the electric sockets and switches I need for the camper and was after some recommendations.

Ideally where you guys would suggest things like USB/12v sockets and lights should go.

I have some ideas but I want to avoid having to retrofit anything later on.

A couple of things I’ve not got that would have been useful are sockets (240v and USB) just inside the sliding doors and a light switch in a similar position to enable me to turn the main lights on/off from the doorway (I have a switch for the pop top lights just inside the door but no use when the roof is down).

I’ve found personally for my use lights in tailgate with switch at rear useful. Additionally 12v and sockets close to opening have been handy to use when I’ve needed to inflate stuff etc. Additionally light switch in the poptop is handy for some light when climbing up and down with kids
