Camp Site Near Beamish Museum Suggestions

looking to take the kids this summer. Any suggestions for nice place with showers etc.

This one at Finchale Abbey isn't too far away. it's not a campsite but has motorhome pitches. nice spot on the river near the old Abbey Finchale Abbey , Durham Campsites, Co Durham

We stayed at Bobby shaftos.
Probably best avoided... .

This is for adults only, but you need to take the kids?

Depends how long your staying ... pub at top road used to let you stay in car park for free https://www.shepherdbeamish.co.uk/about-us but no showers or head to beach in shields Sandhaven Holiday Park | Static Caravan Holiday South Shields plenty for kids to do funfair , ferries, etc . I would definitely avoid bobby shaftos
