Cades Thor 20"

Pretty sure that is what customvanz fit on the GTS and GT specials. Have a search I am sure all the info you need will be on here. Plenty of wheel and tyres threads particularly the T32.

Think their similar but not exactly the same. Customvanz versions are 9/40 from what they are telling me

Yes try and get Et40. And then fit 265/40 20. You won’t have any clearance issues at all with this setup. The 265 is a better match tyre size than the 275 on the 40 profile.

thanks @BognorMotors . Just spoke to 612 and they tell me they make the GTS wheels so now slightly confused why the difference in spec. Do you think 265/40/20 would work on the ET45 Cades wheels? i.e no rub?

You should only have to heat the arches up a little and move, to stop run on full lock.

I'm running 19" 8.5 ET45 with 255/45/19 and they sit perfectly level with the arches on the front, the rear you could possibly push another 10-20mm if you wanted them level, but they look perfect to me, pretty much how VW would design them.

Basing on that, you'd assume a 265, or 275 on a 9.5 with the same ET45 would look too wide for the van on the front, maybe not so on the rear.
I've seen that look before and it just looks odd to me, like you've got over sized incorrect wheels on the front.
That's not a criticism, i'm just wondering if they do 8.5 for the front and 9.5 for the rear both ET45, to give the staggered look, that might look less bulky and more factory.
I've gone down the incorrect wheel choice a couple of times, and it gets expensive and annoying after a while, so getting it right first time is a big bonus, because they won't take the wheels or tyres back if you get it wrong.

Or like Oli said, the ET40 instead of 45, might yield the same result as my combo.

We’ve fitted plenty of et45 x9” with 265/275 combos, so only 1/4” less of the rim sticking out and they look fine in my opinion. I don’t think there would be any issues with a 9.5”. It is of course personal preference. The super metal tridents are this size for reference if you want to look at pictures on our Facebook page

Oli, have you had any issues with 265/40/20s on 9x20 et 42 before?...for example any rubbing when the b14s are lowered? I'm after a tuck look without the stretch or do I play it safe and compromise the look by going 245/45/20s and have stretched tyres?

By the time I finally get this wheel/tyre/suspension setup right I'll be a catalogue of knowledge

20's?

no I'm trying both I think and if neither of them fit and give me the look I like ....there will be a low mileage T32 with b14s and ARBs for sale

You should stick my 19's on to see if that gives an other size option.

ET45 255/45/19 8.5"
They sit perfectly on my 30mm drop, but judging by the visuals, I think they'd tuck up inside the arches nicely.
For the sake of popping over and sticking them on, you'd have another option without wasting any money.

very true...I'm away this week so I have next Sunday free?

You'll be fine with that tyre and offset. When fully slammed on the Bilsteins, you will just need to heat the inner arch liner, to give a little more clearance
