cabinet edge trim options

I have a couple of locations in the van where I keep snagging the edge trim of my cabinets. I can/have glued it back on but wondered if anyone had used a paint instead (successfully)?!
Some conversions I have seen have a raw ply edge just varnished but I am not sure it would work in my case.
Any bright ideas?

Most converters who produce HPL cabinets use plastic banded edging which is pretty much trouble free.
There are a wide range of aluminuim and PVC (wood effect) trims available if you search online.
Otherwise re-work the edges with a radius, sharp corners in the van are never good because eventually you’ll bang your head.
