Buying 1st van- Advice needed please

Hi, I have been looking to buy my 1st van and have found a 2017 T6 Highline that ticks all my boxes. It has 77K and is 2.0, 150bhp DSG.
My concern is all the horror stories online in relation to EGR issues! Can anyone help with what to look for, apparently there are certain engine numbers to look out for?
The van has a FSH and appears to have been well looked after.
Any advice would be appreciated

At that mileage I'd be more worried about how much life may be or may not remaining in the clutch pack. Not a problem really, but it may (or may not) be a significant expense in the not too distant future.

Got a link? Ittl be due its second DSG service so I’d ensure that’s done as part of the deal.
Main EGR issues are on the higher horse power engines where it eats itself and fires it into the turbo unit.

It's fair to say that EGR valves cause problems in some cases, but please remember that there are many thousands of trouble free VW diesel engines around, it's just that nobody goes on a Forum to complain that they've had another year of driving their VW with no problems.
The 150hp variant is generally a good, reliable engine.
Good luck, whatever van you buy.

Behave, at 77k the dsg will be absolutely fine
I bet the underwriters are glad you dont run a warranty company!

The likelihood is that it will have good life in it, but there are sufficient threads on this very hallowed forum with clutch pack issues south of 100k that it is far from a certainty.
