Blower motor recirc switching by itself

Hi, I have 2016 T6 and I’ve noticed the recirc flap on the interior blower motor will often decide to switch itself over to recirc (notable by the increase in air noise in the cabin) and back again, randomly of its own free will - has anyone any experience of this and know of a cause and cure?

When you put in reverse gear if will switch over.

Apart from that it should be manual.

Post some pics of the cliamatronic switches.

2016 will have temp sensors, and solar sensors on the cliamatronic... Didn't know they had air quality sensors?

The manual panel has even less sensors.

If it has one it's under the plenum chamber. It's used to automatically switch to recirc if it detects poor air quality.

T6 equipped with Climatronic AC has the sensor.

It does it automatically, it won’t show you the light

Yes I know that, but it doesn’t auto go to recirc when I put it in reverse (I’ve tried as you said it would) and I’m not looking at the light, it’s the sound that gives it away when it does it
