Bike Rack Too Short

Having searched the forum for any similar issue, to no avail, I'd be very grateful of any ideas or suggestions for a problem that I have encountered whilst attempting to test fit my newly purchased bike rack. The rack supposedly came directly off a 2020 T6.1 yet it doesn't appear to fit my 2020 T6.1. The top brackets are a snug fit and sit nicely on the profile of the top of the tailgate.

The issue is that the bottom feet do not sit snugly around the profile of the lower tailgate around the lamp area. It's almost as if the rack is around 10mm too short, unlikely I know but unless this rack is for a different model Transporter then I'm left scratching my head.
The securing bolts have been fully removed in the following pictures (except for the first one) and the last picture is the rack in its entirety if that helps in identifying it.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or information.

I haven't actually put weight on it in the form of bikes, just applied a bit of downwards force by hand to see if there's any give - there isn't.

Here's another view of it.

Loosen off any bolts you can to give you some slack and then hang a small child off it to really pull those top mounts down and in to place.
I can't find it now, but there was a post on here a while ago about these needing some brute force to fit.
Also worth triple checking any part numbers. Fiamma T5 Bike rack is about 30mm different to Fiamma T6 rack.

Thanks both, useful pointers. Research informs me that the top brackets of the V2 rack are different sizes on the T5 and T6 versions in direct relation to the thicknesses of the top of the tailgates. Also, does not the 30mm difference mentioned apply only to the barn door rack?

I had feared that I was in possession of a T5 rack and was trying to make it fit my T6.1 but I'm reassured by the fact that it fits snugly at the top of the tailgate, in addition to the profile of the bottom feet. To state the obvious, these differ between the T5 and T6 due to the different shapes around the rear lamp lenses and I can see that these are definitely correct on mine.

Off to the Peak District for a long weekend now (without bikes 😕) so will borrow the goddaughter next week and have another test fit with loose bolts and a live weight in the form of a small child.
