Slidepod and towbar bike rack

Anyone have an experience of using a Slidepod with a tilting bike rack like the Atera Strada DL3? While the tailgate opens, is it enough space to actually slide out the pod and brew a cuppa (from the side obviously!)

Need a bike rack and no good options really- either a tailgate rack where I can’t open the tailgate with bikes on, and would need to remove spoiler OR a towbar rack where I’d need to fit towbar (£££) but has the benefit of getting the tailgate open.

The towbar option is probably better IF I can access the Slidepod so I don’t need to remove bikes on quick overnights… probably the tailgate is better if I couldn’t access anyway

After a lot of searching online, managed to find a single image of a Slidepod in use with a towbar rack…

However still think I’ll go for the tailgate option. Just can’t stomach the cost of a towbar plus rack for the occasional en route coffee or quick overnigter … and at least if I change my mind later I can sell the tailgate rack whereas the towbar would be a sunk cost.
