Bi tdi t6 2017 coolant leak egr pipe

Hi everyone im after some advice……I’ve had my van 6 months bought 2nd hand from vw leciester got 12 months warranty and apparently this isn’t covered as pipes are a wear and tear item? I would like to know if I blank off the EGR will this stop the coolant leaking from the egr pipe?

I'd very much doubt that's a pipe...

You may need to authorize the £500 diagnostic fee for them to investigate.

Then when The faulty parts are fixed the £500 would be absorbed by the warranty claim.

Or take it to a different garage for a second option.

And.... For that price you can get a brand new shiney EGR fitted.!
