Benidorm or bust

Left Benidorm this morning which had hurricane winds, trees down, bars and cafe fronts destroyed, loads of damage on Camping Raco. Tree down in front of camping La Torreta no one could get on or off the site. The winds finally stopped when we arrived this evening on an aire in Zaragossa.
Its been the coldest and wettest weve ever known in 20 odd years.
We have decided at the age of 76 that we will not travel abroad again.

So long as your safe  .
Can get mighty cold and windy on that treck through Teruel back to Zaragoza aswell with all those exposed viaducts not great with a crosswind .
Hopefully the rest of your journey will be plain sailing now🤞
I must agree this has been the coldest and wettest year we've known too .
We might rethink for next year.
You infront of the football ground tonight ?

@Rioja John glad you're all OK John.
Hopefully when you've got over the shock you'll change your mind about travelling abroad. You're 76 years young.
Are you in the big Aire next to the main road and the Tram stop in Zaragosa? Have a couple of days there mate, it's a lovely place. Visit the cathedral the interior is amazing.

Si.

That's the one Si but we've left now.

@Rioja John. At 76, youth still young enough to enjoy life on the road (says a 72 year old!). Maybe the answer is just don’t go to Benidorm any more.
