I am pondering if it’s worth having a lithium battery built into a seat base, any thoughts

1. Is it possible
2. Would it be cost effective
3 what sort of size would I achieve
4. Anyone tried it
5. Any battery builders on the forum

Cheers

Yes... But not sure what exactly your looking for?

Yo can fit a 100-230ah lithium in a seat base.

Have a look here for ideas:

I'm not sure what you'd gain over using one of the pre built seat base ones - they fill the space quite well looking at folks build threads.

You could probably squeeze a bit more in but usually the remaining space is used for something like fuses, chargers, cut off switches, bus bars...

There are places I'll do self assembled batteries, but under my backside is not one of them.

Thanks Dell what I am think is that a single seat base becomes the battery with BMU built in, I don’t know how viable that would be over ready made units. I currently have one of the green 138amh in the seat base with a second in the garage to be installed and it just got the greymatertwitching as to if there was one already done or if it would even be viable. All other electrics are under the other seat. Both single by the way.IMG_1245.webpIMG_1705.webp
