Basic question how do i open this flap please?

Hi I am very new here - as you can tell from this question "how can I open this, I think it is the electric hook up flap?"

Dont you just pull it, and its on a spring so flicks shut.

Mine just pulls up from the bottom edge. It clicks shut (not the strongest click ever) to stop it flapping in the wind.

Thank you both - I did try that but it didn't seem to move so wondered if there was some kind of release... maybe I will try a bit harder ...

Could always try sliding an old credit card around the gap - sides and bottom edge, just to release it a little without too much pressure

As above, lift up from bottom. They are designed to be stiff
