Barn-door badge removal advice needed.

Hi guys. I want to cover a small patch of bad paintwork I have. I was thinking of fitting one of the decal stripes but it’s inline with the VW badge. Is this badge removable so I could fit the stripe and then reinstall after? Or any other suggestions welcome. Thanks

The badge does come off as well if that’s the route you want to go, bit of heat and some fishing line your good to go
