Autohuse solar panel not working

Hi all, I purchased a second hand Autohuse T6.1 back in Feb, it's only 2.5 years old with 7k on the clock. I am really new to all this so please bare with me. All the electrics appear to be working ok, the leisure battery charges from both the car battery and hook up and seems to hold charge when the van is parked up for any length of time. But when I run the fridge the charge goes down in less than 24 hours, which I'd have thought normal without the solar panel, but I have a panel but it doesn't seem to cut in. I ran a test today, left the fridge on when I parked up last night, then checked it 24 hours later. The low charge was beeping on the control panel and it showed 0% charge. The control box, I assume that's what it is under the seat, had a red light showing. It's been a bright day today so I would of expected the solar to kick in at some point. I turned the fridge off, though I think it had gone off anyway, and plugged the EHU into the mains to recharge the battery. I came back to it about 2 hours later and turned the EHU off and removed it to see how much charge had gone back in. The red light was now flashing green, fully charged, and the control panel was showing between 93% and 88%. I had checked all the fuses in the main fuse box in the cupboard and the one on the control box under the seat. So, am I missing something? Should there be more than 1 fuse on the control box under the seat? Sadly I don't know the size of the solar panel, other than it's the stick on type, so I'd assume not very powerful, but would at least expect it to be showing a connection. Any help would be much appreciated.

Few things you can try.
Remove the black/neg solar wire. Remove the black/neg battery wire. Reinstall solar neg then battery neg. Sometimes these units can trip out and reconnecting resets them.
If that fails remove both solar wires, but be careful not to touch together, then check voltage when the sun is on it with a multimeter. No voltage probably = knackered panel.

I had an Autohaus Ashton - first solar panel (stick on) failed after 18 months but replaced under warranty along with the leisure battery. Second panel (another stick on one) failed after 6 years - fortunately leisure battery was OK this time.
