Any deals to be had

Hi
Has anyone had much luck with negotiating the list price on their camper purchase recently. Just wondered what the feel out there was like as local to me just laughed when I asked for discount or to throw in some extras. This was on a 60 grand van.
Like the look of the Autohaus seen on site & Cambridge Campers look nice but not sure until I phone them. Got very good reviews for customer service, thought I read somewhere camper King are the converters?
Only ask as I'm 4 hours away from them

Thanks as always for any replies

We were at the campervan and motorhome exhibition at Exeter show ground yesterday. Not many new vans or motorhomes. Speaking too e of the salesmen he said it was bonkers on new vehicles and some manufacturers at the NEC next month would be marketing their 2023 models as everything was already gone for this year. He said it was strange times where there was no negotiations on extras or discounts and bizarrely wasn’t overly comfortable with it. Last year at busfest there was a display van for £75k and a potential purchaser was trying to do a deal but no movement at all 1/2hour later it was gone. No harm in asking but don’t be surprised if there’s very little movement or none

I bought our 2071 T6.1 from Salop Vans no discount at all but when I asked how much to lower the suspension
Ade said that if I bought the van he would lower it free of charge so I did the deal.

John.

Thanks all.
I need to get something otherwise it might be a fiat
Seriously, sold the house a while ago and I'm quickly eating the money away. I had hoped to have a 6m conversion but no chance until 2023 and car written off last week so park bench is a possibility
Only me so I can live with limited space as will be full time.
I was going to go today as local to Exeter but so few dealers there. Ventura look good build quality but so little stock as you say.
I'm tempted by Autohaus as South West, Cambridge Campers and revolution good reviews but 4 hours plus. Just thinking if something goes wrong.
Have the hire car for 1 more week so need to do some travelling.
As you can see I do go on, wonder ifs that's why I have no mates

Why would any dealer offer/support the blue light card when customers are queuing up outside?

That’s interesting. We were looking to scale up this year to a Crafter size vehicle, and I was hoping things would calm down with foreign holidays becoming available. We will be at the NEC show in Feb, so let’s see what the Dealers say there.
At least we have our T6.

I'd planned for the NEC but life's having other ideas, now the cars gone. If I do buy a T6, the last place I'll be going is Birmingham. Knowing my luck I'll walk in and see my dream van, even though some aren't even taking enquries until 23

Same as Pete I am changing the T6 for a new converted Crafter I paid a deposit in November which secured the price now got a minimum 9 months wait!

Eh? I think you missed my point, regardless of the charity or good cause, these companies are gouging the prices and have full order books, so why would you expect a discount if people are waving the money at them?
Completely misinterpreted...Apologies...thought you were having a dig at the NHS queues. However from my experience some do offer blue light discounts.
