I read about corrosion issues with VW alloy wheels so in November I coated my Cascaval wheels with ACF50.
It's commonly used by motorcyclists who ride in winter to protect their pride and joy from the damage salt causes to alloy and steel components.
Simple to apply, soak a clean rag and rub it on. The secret is to then leave it until spring before cleaning off.
As the sun was shining this morning and with the clocks going forward tonight I decided it was time to get it off. Using some Muc Off, cold water and a rag it came off easily leaving the wheels shining like new.
