We stayed here a couple of years back, child friendly and 5 minutes drive into Beaumaris.

If you’re that side, take a trip to Penmon Point - worth seeing once. There’s a good cafe, and I think it’s about £8 per day for parking. You have probably seen the painting at some point (!).

I’ve stayed on the beach in the bay just south of Wylfa power station, peaceful enough at the time as the project was on hold and totally out of site, not sure what the status is now though.
