Alternative Cab Seats

I'm a professional upholster, a good one may I add

I'm thinking of doing a few alternative seats for the T6.

I currently have, Mazda RX8 Electric Heated Seats & Saab 93 seats.

I plan on reupholstering both sets.

What are the thoughts on seats? do we prefer something stock? Or maybe something a little bit different?

I'd love some alternative seats in mine as I find the VW seats hatefully nasty and uncomfortable, mainly in terms of thigh support. I'm only 5'8" but feel I'm perched on the edge as the squab is so short, and get out after a long journey like I've had spinal surgery. I put A8 recaro seats with pullout thigh support in my T5 and they were absolutely awesome in terms of comfort and support (though I must admit I really missed the armrests) Ended up taking them out before I sold the van as I became a bit nervous about the insurance implications as I'd fitted them myself.

In a nutshell I'd like alternative seats but they'd have to be certified as safe for insurance purposes, or as an alternative I'd like to find somewhere that could extend and reshape the VW ones so I could keep the armrests

I loved my saab 93 seats but so far the T6 seats are fine.
