Alpicool 12v power cable

Hello just a quick question my Alpicool started showing low voltage warning and I’ve read that the cigarette socket is unreliable and better to wire straight to the battery so my question is this as I only need a short cable and most that I can buy are to long can I cut the cigarette plug off the existing (factory) 12v cable that came with the fridge and wire that straight in to my leisure battery fuse box with a 15a fuse ? And is this advisable?

how do you know its the plug and not the battery just asking my tv flags up low voltage when theres a million and one things charging

Hi my battery is reading 100% but also I’m happy to wire the fridge in properly as it would make more sense to do it and then it eliminate that as I see it mentioned the cigarette socket is unreliable

I didn't trust using a cigarette plug for my portable Outwell compressor fridge so bought a spare lead and replaced the cigarette plug with an Anderson plug to connect to a fused cable wired direct to the leisure battery. Ironically I'm temporarily back to using the cigarette connection since altering interior layout.
