Advice Needed On Selling

Need some advice please

my personal circumstances have changed literally over night, meaning I am staying with friends and will probably lose my job

My caravelle is on pcp finance
vw finance reckon £26k to settle (which I haven't got)
the van is worth around mid 30k's I think
but they are asking I pay them £7k to hand Back the vehicle??

any advice please?
I have no money to settle but can't afford keep it

Have you approach and dealers to see if they’ll buy it. alternatively sell it privately, the buyer would simply pay vw financial and any difference between the finance value and the agreed sale pice goes to you.

How far into the pcp are you? After paying over 50% of total amount to finance (not just your monthly payments) you can hand it back. As above though I'd speak with the dealer you had it from.

I had a look at the price of my kombi on we buy any van and it was a very good offer. Even if they drop a bit when you take it to them . It was £3000 more than I owed. If you sell privately you need to pay it off first but a dealer will pay them and give you the difference .
You could ask the finance company if you can spread it over a longer term if that would help lower the payments. If you speak to the finance company they could give you some time without payments as they won’t want the van back.

Remember that the dealer will seek to profit from your misfortune. Get a price from Evans Halshaw for a cash sale. Good advice above re if you are over half way through your pcp...handback might be an option.

I have sold my car to we buy any car(same thing as van)
I got more than dealerships offer
Also I have heard they will settle the finance

I went through the same experience with a car after the ex bitchtroll decided to leave 2 months after I bought the damned car... but the stealers and the finance company were so not interested... Mine worked itself out too. Understand your relief.
