Adhesive on pop top canvas

Hi all
I’m carpet lining my t6 and have got contact adhesive on the inside of the pop top canvas. Any removal ideas appreciated. People say brake cleaner or panel wipe but worried about effect on canvas.

White spirit and test in a hidden area.

Thank you soldas. Wanted to check. Didn’t want to dissolve canvas.

You could also try some goo gone. Goo Gone -Adhesive Remover Spray Gel-355 ml : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive

I have used this stuff in the past but as Soldas say, try it in a hidden place
