My pals T5.1 canvas on his pop top is shot.
Had a search and nothing came up.
Anyone got any recommendations as to who can replace the canvas in Scotland?
He’s in Stirling.
Thanks.

Do these things unzip or come away easily. Then perhaps it would matter a little less if it needed posting somewhere. There are tent and other outdoor repairers in Scotland as well as outdoor clothing read manufactured Egyptian Cotton outdoor mountain jackets and Ventile

Cannot remember where I saw tent repairers or repairs in outdoor equipment but I saw something years ago about tent repairs in Scotland The people at the Scottish clothing Manufacturers above do repairs of own stuff all hand made Repairs possibly they might help or know of somewhere in Scotland. By the way they make fantastic clothing mostly natural materials a Pop Top with Ventile or one of their other similar materials would probably never leak but woud breath and also would last a very long time Ventile comes in different grades

I also around that time bought a Hilleberg Tent . and maybe they recommended where to send them if damaged, it is quite a while ago. Sorry I can not provide anything more useful but perhaps the clothing company might send you in the best direction and it is very worth while having a look at their pages.

Thanks. They don’t come off easily and can’t be unzipped.
I think it would have to be a company that specialises in pop tops as he’s looking for a replacement not repair.

Sorry to cut into your space without something more concrete but the material surround of the pop up will more likely as not be made up from a pattern. i may be underestimating the complexity as I do not have my own pop-top but it might be possible to make a pattern, the girls will know all about that then it could be made from any suitable material I would choose something from the clothing manufacturers above . :)

If he fancies a 200 mile drive south to Skipton, I can certainly recommend DriveLodge Motorhomes who recently replaced mine under warranty. 4 and a half years into the 5 year warranty. Amazing service. 6 hour turnaround.

Thanks Wayne.
I’ve found a place that supplies the canvas to fit yourself. Only they don’t deliver.
If I can’t find somewhere to do the job I might give it a go myself
Only after I’ve become a total expert after watching a utube video of course  and if I can get delivery

@The Flying Scotsman Hope you're well mate. Contact Jon at Vanhux VW camper conversion | VanHux VW Camper Services | Scotland they did my conversion. Or of course there's Jerba, but I've no experience of them. Jerba Campervans | VW Approved Campervan Conversions

I recently took a run down to Newcastle to Rogue One Campers Rogue One Campers - Superior Custom Campers.

They supplied and fitted a set of genuine leather Sportline front seats and an MSCraft seat swivel for me. Good bunch of guys with alot of used vans in various states of repair/conversion. They might help.
