Access To Fuse Box T6

I am trying to check fuses in my T6 Kombi. Now i know where the fuse box is and how to get to it however the coolant pipework prevents me opening the lid fully. Has anyone experienced this and if so how was it resolved?

Which fuse box exactly?

There are 2 in the engine bay and one in the lower dash.

It’s the one that houses the 30amp for the windscreen heater. Located bottom right corner of engine bay. I’ve removed what looks like a heat resistant wall to expose the box but the lid just doesn’t go all the way up, it jams on the coolant pipe work
