ABS stabilisation control / start stop fault - Double Swivel Base?

Hello,

Just fitted a double swivel base at the weekend. Following a few YouTube videos and tucking the under seat wiring into the tench under the carpet. The vehicle doesn't have any that run directly to the seat itself (eg. heated seats etc), so the job seemed pretty straight forward.

Today I've had ABS stabilisation control / start stop faults appear. Quick google/forum search suggests this is most likely a wheel speed sensor or similar? But suddenly wondered if its related to messing with the wiring under the seat? Is it possible the two are linked? 😬

Welcome to the T6 Forum misadventures_with_mabel. Wow that is a mouthful, longer than mine.

Wheel Speed Sensors cause a multitude of problems and fail a multitude of times a complete and utter pain. Do you have a fault code reader. I always think it is sensible to help others diagnose and offer suggestion if more information is given about the vehicle in question. Probably for this in may not be absolutely necessary but for most thing it gives them a head start as some problems might be model specific. Some have done their own wheel sensors and others have them done for them, their are account on here that give some good explanations. :)
